Alingsås municipality was looking for winter-equipped vehicles that in a fast and flexible way could be an important cog in the municipality's snow removal. Their choice was Toyota Hilux rebuilt to be able to quickly be in place to start snow and anti-skid.
These Toyota Hilux are rebuilt with an electrically adjustable / foldable front plow, sand spreader on the retrofitted platform, various flash, warning and work lighting to ensure safe travel for the general public and staff. In addition, rear air suspension for optimal suspension, stability and road holding, which is especially important for overhangs, heavy and / or varying loads such as e.g. sand spreader on the platform.
En stor fördel med detta fordon är att den anpassat för att snabbt och säkert kunna snöröja och halkbekämpa cykel- och gångvägar tack vare sin låga vikt. Dessutom förflyttar sig fordonet snabbt till och från olika områden genom att den inte är hastighetsbegränsad i och med att den är byggd på en Toyota Hilux.
Comfort-enhancing, remote-controlled fuel heaters and cameras for control over functionality and operation are also installed.
